|Yassene is heading
the bioinformatics activities at the Proteomics
Centre, focussing on targeted proteomics
bioinformatics, clinical applications of proteomics
and statistical approaches for MRM and PRM analyses.
Yassene is also an assistant professor in
bioinformatics at the Center
for Proteomics and Metabolomics, Leiden University
Medical Center, The Netherlands. In Leiden his
research focus on bottom-up and targeted proteomics,
-omics data integration, scientific workflows, and
eScience. Yassene received his PhD in Medical
Informatics from the University
of Göttingen, Germany. In the past he has also
worked on distributed computing applications, data
protection and security in distributed environments,
as well as multiphysics simulation and modelling.
| Pallab joined the Proteomics centre as a
postdoctoral fellow in the beginning of 2016. He has
earned his PhD in Structural Bioinformatics from the
Vrije University of Brussels, Belgium in 2015.
Currently Pallab works on developing various web
resources, knowledge bases, and data processing tools
for targeted proteomics.
Simon joined the Bioinformatics group at the Proteomics centre as a Scientific programmer in 2018. He studied Chemistry with minor in Computer Science at the University of Victoria. In the Bioinformatics group Simon develops software snippets and complete programs that are parts of many of our data analysis pipelines
